Closing out 2024…

Happy new Year, everyone! I hope you had a great 2024.  It’s still December 29th, but I decided to finish the year up with a quick post.

I’ll start by saying: Thanks to everyone who has subscribed and continues to watch my content! I know I am long overdue for some new content, both on my website, and my youtube channel.

As I’ve had some time off at end of the year, I’ve found some time to work on projects. I went “all-in” with leather working this year, mainly for Christmas gifts. I have found some useful ways of incorporating 3d printing into Leather and I do have some video content “in the hopper”. But for now.. I’ll just leave you with a few of the projects that I’ve made over the last month.

I’ve made A LOT of leather projects. Here are a few of them. In total I made about 17 “gifts” for Christmas.

I am a big fan of making coasters. And also a big Ohio State fan. 2024 has been a tough year for OSU, with an early loss to Oregon, and losing the Michigan game. However, they did beat Tennessee and are going to be playing again in the Rose Bowl. I was inspired to try to make an OSU “Block O” coaster. I decided to try to incorporate 3d printing to make an impression of the coaster. I designed a 3d printed “template” and used a die press to make an impression with the leather.

Other Boring Updates

My website renewal was about to renew. I felt like I wasn’t getting the value from my original provider (and price was going up) so I decided to switch host ing providers. Hopefully everything works, but if there are any hiccups, that’s why. So far, it seems very responsive!

Upcoming Content

I have a project or two in the hopper planned for January. We shall see how those progress- stay tuned and thanks for checking out my content.
